His generosity in sharing precise and expert knowledge, and his ability to crystallize a group of conscientious people around him is extraordinary. I immediately felt as part of the group, learning an amalgamation of many arts and seeing them applied first hand in a practical and devastating way. I find Thong’s explanations and personal attention very helpful. His awareness of what is happening around the room and his expectation of excellence generates the best from everyone and brings out hard and honest training.
