Fight With Light- Professional Low-Light Tactics, Now Available to Civilians

When former Navy SEAL Team One member Ken Good sent me his Estrela Tactical Flashlight along with the innovative, “Deployment of Illumination Tools: A Law Enforcement Primer” manual, I was floored. Having worked as a fashion photographer, I thought I at least knew the basics of light and how to tie it into my martial practice.
But, as Ken Good likes to say, “You don’t know, what you don’t know”. This compliments my favorite saying, “What you don’t know can hurt you.”
Knowing that I teach first responders, LEO, MIL, and various alphabet company employees, Ken wanted to give me something born from his real-world operational experiences to enhance my students’ safety.
Imagine the following scenario:
You’re a police officer conducting a late night traffic stop. Instead of shining your big bulky Mag-light flashlight into the motorist’s face, at the risk of blinding and riling him up, you use a more pleasing, less offensive light sufficient to read his river’s licence, registration, and facial expression. Suddenly, you observe the driver’s demeanor starting to change, as he slowly reaches for something between the seats. With an imperceptible rotation of your fingers, you flip the dial on the flashlight from 1 lumen to 1,000 lumens. When the driver prepares to lunge at you, you depress a button which instantly launches what can only best be described as a portable sun into his eyes, effectively freezing his world, causing him to shield his eyes while seeing nothing but stars. Through deft manipulation of the light’s path, you lead his movement in a “No touch” sense where you can take him into custody.
This and additional concepts are fully explained in Ken’s Deployment of Illumination Tools manual.
In a fight for your life situation, there’s no such thing as a fair fight. You will need every conceivable advantage to assure and insure your safety. This training manual is used by many top Law Enforcement, MIL trainers from around the world. It has never before been made available to the general public.
It will teach you most everything you need to know about fighting in the low light tactical environment, and how to properly benefit from the cover of darkness. It will give you the ability to put lighting conditions in your favor to control your opponent’s OODA cycle and lengthen his response time. See Ken Good’s treatise on Col. John Boyd’s OODA Loop. Anyone who works at night, or might be at risk of physical harm at dusk, should own this Estrela flashlight and/or commit to memory this training manual. Even though I had been given a complimentary, I still bought my own to express gratitude for the wisdom shared, and respect for its potentially life-saving value.
I have also given several Estrela flashlights to professionals who head into harm’s way. One world renown, highly decorated security expert who’d make Hollywood’s character, Jason Bourne look amateurish, now swears by his Estrela and never works without it.
Professionals won’t touch things that aren’t functional or reliable. All my guys love this flashlight and accompanying training manual. Unfortunately, I’ve just learned that the Estrela’s been out of stock (ask to be placed on the wait-list), but the training manual is still available for immediate download!
